ANTI-BULLYING ADVERTS! - some examples to help.

Here are some examples of some thought provoking anti-bullying advertisements currently being streamed globally in the media.These should give you some good ideas for your own task.

     This particular video is far to long for a television or internet advert, but it gives some good ideas!

This video is 50 seconds long, which is a bit   longer than your normal television ad.

This ad is being shown in the USA, it is 30 seconds in duration which is a perfect legnth for this type of advertisement.

WEEK 3 OVERVIEW

Woah! What a week. Lets review...

- Finished our Ben X booklet and talked about important film techniques, themes & ideas and considered some important questions about what Ben X is 'ultimately' about.

-  Created our Bullying mindmap

- Talked about Olivia Penpraze's story, and discussed about CYBERBULLYING in society.

- Listened to Streamlyne's Good Friday, and analysed his lyrics in regards to not only Olivia but how they talk about universal issues we each face as individuals.

- Streamlyne visited, and we further discussed his song, why he wrote it, people's responses and his own experiences in the cyberworld as an artist.


I am very impressed with your engagement thus far, and as we start our task I hope to see the same entuhusiam you guys brought to the classroom this week. I will upload our task in the next couple of days and go through it in classtime next week.

As I have said many times in class, if at any stage you are feeling upset or overwhelmed by our class content please please please, come speak to me or Miss Van der Berg, as we know this isnt the easiest topic to talk about.
